In July 2013 the first phase of the maintenance project ‘Rehabilitation’ infra Hato was executed which involved the re-asphalting of the runway and taxi strip of Hato airport.
New Product
The assignment was to remove and re-apply the asphalt layers, fill cracks using crack seal, ‘botoxing’ (rejuvenating) the old asphalt outside the touchdown area, and applying new markings.
CWM has used a new product for this project, called RejuvaSeal. This repairs chemical imbalances in old asphalt. CWM’s work has once again made sure the many airplanes that land at Hato airport will experience a smooth landing.
